LONG HOPE | The Hardest Sea Cliff | Dave Macleod

Adventure, excitement, danger, rain, loose rock, hard climbing and vomiting birds! All key ingredients in this shoot. The Long Hope is a route on huge sea cliff on a tiny island way north of the north coast of Scotland. St John's Head is the largest sea cliff in the UK at around 350m and it's an adventure just getting to the top of the crag.

This is a photo story of Dave Macleod's first free ascent of the Longhope Route.
